Our Causes

HGC takes pride in being able to serve our community and provide a long lasting, positive impact in the lives of those around us. Through our philanthropic endeavors, we are thrilled to support the incredible work of the following organizations:

Capitalize for Kids works with kids’ mental health agencies across the country to identify operational opportunities to reduce wait times by building the capacity of their existing services. In addition, agencies receive three years of funding to implement any solution recommended and C4K supports them throughout the entire change management process. To further expand impact, at the completion of a project, they template and share what they learned so that other mental health service providers across Canada are empowered to implement similar solutions.

Healthier Children. A Better World. As leaders in child heath, SickKids partners locally and globally to improve the health of children through the integration of care, research and education. SickKids is in campaign to build a new hospital that is fortified for disasters and everyday care, to elevate healthcare beyond the walls of their building and to continue to fund breakthrough research. SickKids goals are within reach because of their donors support.

Childhood cancer changes lives. So does camp. At Campfire Circle (formerly Camp Ooch & Camp Trillium), we are passionate about building a world where children thrive and families heal. Through our year-round hospital, community and overnight camp programs, we foster resilience, well-being and lifelong connections for kids and families affected by childhood cancer.
